Oh noes. That is bad stuff. Do hope he can reschedule.
The Mummy axis of the JRME tree (honk if you love mixed metaphors) were meant to come back from their holiday in Italy on Friday. I'm not sure they're ever going to get back, actually.
It's great, this (unless you're trying to get anywhere) Like the Earth itself is a militant environmentalist. I don't know what's going on though: there hasn't been any panic buying of note as yet round Engerland way, and usually, we just love the opportunity to do some panic-buying. This time we might actually run out of some stuff, and everyone's like, "Meh. It's sunny."
I was disappointed, actually. I saw a headline on graniadiadiawniad, that said, shriekily, "ENGLAND TO TOTALLY RUN OUT OF ALLLL FRUIT AND VEG, OH MY GOOOOOD"
and then on following the story, it turned out that some waitrose customers may be without fresh pineapple chunks and rare orchids may run a bit low for a few days. Pchuah!
I'm in Istanbul. I didn't used to be. This is one of those navel gazing affairs where I bang on about what I had for tea last night or some such and you, quite properly, fail to care. Enjoy!
(I am inconsistent with my capitalisation policy. I do apologise.)

The sky is very pretty though. Completely blue and unblemished by plane trails.
